Ayden Veik, a recent graduate of Central Community College (CCC), is now pursuing a business degree at Wayne State College and working as a technical analyst in Nebraska. Veik, who previously played esports at CCC, was featured in a 2022 player spotlight by the NJCAAE when he was a freshman.

"I love being part of this team. As a first-year team, our accomplishments have been very exciting for our coach, who played esports at Ohio State. I really enjoy the NJCAAE's connection with other teams and their excellent tournaments and playoffs. I'm super excited to keep playing," Veik said in 2022.

Veik's passion for esports remains strong.

"I was part of the NJCAAE for the two years I was in college, from 2022 to 2024. I spent a lot of time participating in esports and competing against other colleges, winning two Tier 1 national titles along the way. Esports have impacted me in a surprisingly big way. I was able to receive scholarships from Esports to help me pay for school and it is a great talking point among peers," Veik said in 2024.

Veik is still playing Call of Duty and plans to continue playing for the foreseeable future. Ayden also encourages young gamers to pursue the game they love while maintaining a strong focus on both mental and physical health. He emphasizes the importance of humility, suggesting they should always acknowledge and respect others' skills, even if they believe themselves to be superior.
