A competitive platform is a service used by the NJCAAE National Office for tournament hosting, registration, competitive schedule visualization, match page functions, match day management, communication, competition retention, and more!
The NJCAAE and PlayVS have entered into a partnership!

The National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) and PlayVS have entered into a landmark partnership! PlayVS, North America's leading esports platform, is the official high school esports partner of the NFHS Network, the Special Olympics, and 40+ state and regional organizations across the U.S. and Canada. The PlayVS College League launched July 2025 with the focus of becoming the pipeline for esports in Middle School through College. This partnership establishes NJCAAE as the Official 2-Year College Partner of the PlayVS College League (PCL).

As part of this partnership, PlayVS will be the official NJCAAE competition platform, broadcast, and prizing partner. This partnership brings greater connection and visibility in educational esports through collaboration and standardization from Middle School through College. In addition, the PCL will aim to increase the visibility of the 2-year collegiate space, allowing NJCAAE institutions to draw more attention to their efforts.

Once you've created a profile, message NJCAAE staff and we will approve your profile quickly.

Ignore anything that is focused on High School or not directly related to the NJCAAE. If the rules, guides, requirements, etc.... don't mention NJCAAE, it does not apply to NJCAAE.
How to join as a coach:
The NJCAAE National Office and PlayVS have created institution profiles for every member institution. All you need to do is create your profile and request to join your institution!

On first login, you should be prompted to take a product tour to briefly walk you through the site.
Creating and Managing Teams:
In this guide, you'll find the steps to create and enroll a team, as well as the process to verify and add players to your teams.

Participants can create an account and join your institution easily!
